Adversity into Legacy....
Embraced all the adversity I’ve been through and will continue to embrace it .... Moulded by it ....
Overcoming has become the norm, I was built for this. Used to starving and finding a way, well equipped to deal with the challenges ahead as it’s a normal process, struggle, persevere, overcome. The cycle of life.
Adversity is such an advantage when you see it’s position and place in your life. The people who don’t have to chase every meal are not conditioned for the challenges ahead. The come up and struggles are a usual aspect of life when constantly faced with adversity, you are more hungry to succeed because you have starved for so long. You will be surprised how resourceful one can become with very little and see the opportunity as life or death. An underdog always rises because of the complacency that comes with success and comfort. Learn from the king of the jungle. A Lion is the king but yet still goes out and hunts for his meals. A lion never has his meals provided for him because that brings a level of complacency and opportunity for others who are constantly overcoming their challenges to rise up. Great strength comes from purposefully pushes yourself and your comfort zones. It is the process that makes you strong and puts you in the position of power.
When you are so used to facing challenges, even in a position of power, the challenges can present themselves in different ways and provide value if you have perspective. The most complacent position is the top, its not difficult getting to the top, it is hard staying there. You must see the top as a vulnerable position and be even more hungry to stay at the top than you were aspiring to be at the top. An underdog always rises, the top spot is a great source of inspiration until you get there, what happens then?. The people who aspire to be great think of legacy rather then just the top spot, legacy is long term, currency is short term. They both have relevance but think bigger than just top spot, see the bigger picture.... When legacy is the aim, you realise that top spot for a moment is not enough. Don't just create a moment, create many moments that become memories, and those memories become stories and the stories create history. "Currency means you have the ability to climb to the top of the mountain, legacy means you have the ability to build your house there." When you have come from adversity, from nothing, the will to become more than just something current is strong. The struggles have refined your character and given you the strength and resilience to succeed no matter the obstacles. Those obstacles provide value in terms of gratitude of life, perspective in appreciation how far you have come, embracing the journey. Adversity can birth great things. Adversity into Legacy...
